Stone and Wood Spotlight Pendant

Stone and wood combined into a small directional spotlight pendant, minimalist in outline but with real material weight to it. The stone gives a cool mineral surface, the wood a warm grain, and the contrast between the two is what makes the fitting worth looking at whether or not it is switched on.

Five configurations are offered. Round and square are the single-head versions, and the choice is purely a question of which geometry suits the room: round softens, square sharpens. Round plus round, square plus square, and round plus square are the twin-head versions, and the mixed pairing is the interesting one, giving you two different forms on the same fitting. Because the head is a spotlight rather than a diffused shade, the light is focused and directional, which makes this a genuine task fitting over an island, a worktop or a table rather than a decorative one. The twin versions cover a longer surface from a single fixing point.

Stone and wood are natural materials, so grain, tone and marking vary between pieces and no two fittings are identical. Bulbs are not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting, which is heavier than it looks because of the stone.
