Metal Birdcage Chandelier
An open metal cage with a small bird perched on the frame, this Nolle Desing pendant sits somewhere between industrial and storybook. The cage is left deliberately open rather than closed in, so the light passes straight through the bars and casts a fine pattern of lines onto the ceiling and the wall behind it. The bird is the detail people notice second, and it is what stops the piece from being just another wire cage.
Two configurations are offered. The single-light version is a quiet accent over a bedside, a hallway table or a reading chair, and looks good hung in a pair or a row of three above a kitchen island. The four-light version is a proper chandelier, with the cages grouped together for a dining table or a living room. Both come in bronze, which warms the whole fitting and suits older houses and wood-heavy rooms, or black, which is sharper and works better in a modern or industrial scheme.
Built from powder-coated metal. Bulbs are not included; a warm filament-style bulb suits the open cage far better than a cool white one. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting.
