Two lamps sharing one design: a floor version at 50 x 162 cm and a table version at 31 x 54 cm. They are not the same lamp at two scales but the same weave and the same proportions applied to two different jobs, which means buying both for one room gives you a matched pair rather than a large and a small object that happen to be similar.
Rattan does something to floor lamp light that fabric cannot. Because the weave is open, the shade lights from within and glows along its whole height rather than only at the top and bottom, so a floor lamp becomes a soft vertical column of light standing in a corner instead of a bright cap on a stand. At 162 cm that is a real presence.
The table version does the same at a scale that suits a console or a side table. Both are hand-woven, so the weave varies slightly between pieces. Bulbs are not included, since a woven shade travels badly with one fitted; energy-saving LED or incandescent bulbs of 60 W or less are recommended. Indoor use only, since rattan absorbs moisture. Dust with a dry soft brush.
