This is a table lamp designed to be atmosphere rather than illumination, and it is worth being clear about that. The coloured glass body is the point: switched on, it glows as a coloured object on the nightstand rather than lighting the room, which is exactly what you want beside a bed at the end of an evening and exactly wrong for reading by.
Two sizes are offered, 20 cm and 27 cm. The smaller is a proper night light, low enough not to disturb anyone sleeping; the larger has enough presence to work on a console or a shelf as well as a bedside table, and it costs only slightly more. Both share the same French retro shape and the same fitting, so they pair well.
It takes a standard E27 bulb, not included, and is direct wired for 110V-240V with CE and UL certification. A warm, low-wattage bulb suits it best, since a bright one defeats the purpose of a coloured glass shade entirely and washes the colour out of it. Indoor use. Wipe the glass with a soft dry cloth, and let it cool before handling it.
