Marble is an unusual material for a small pendant, and the reason it works here is scale. At 10, 11.5 and 15 cm across, these are compact enough that the weight of the stone is not a problem, and small enough that the veining reads as a detail rather than as a pattern spread across the whole ceiling. It is a considered use of the material.
Because marble is opaque, the light goes downward only. That makes these genuinely task-oriented fixtures rather than ambient ones: hung in a row over an island, they drop clean pools onto the worktop with no spill onto the ceiling, which is exactly what a working kitchen wants and what a glass pendant, however attractive, cannot give you at all.
The three sizes are all single-light versions at the same price, so you choose on proportion alone. Every piece of marble is different, so the veining varies from one fixture to the next and a row of three will never be identical. It suits a minimalist, Nordic or modern room.
