Nordic Straw Hat Metal Pendant Light

A tall tapered iron shade with a flared brim, borrowing the straw hat outline but executed in metal so the silhouette stays crisp. The narrow body and wide lip do something useful: the light is held inside the shade until it reaches the brim, then released downwards in a defined cone, so the fitting gives a bright pool without spilling glare sideways into the room.

Three sizes are offered. At 13 by 30 cm it is a slim accent, and a row of three or five over a kitchen island or a long bar is the way most people use it. At 14 by 40 cm it is taller and more dramatic for the same narrow footprint, which suits a stairwell or a low-hung position over a table. At 25 by 40 cm it is substantial enough to work singly over a dining table or in a hallway. Black is the graphic option and disappears into a dark ceiling; gold is warmer and catches light along the brim.

Bulb is not included. Because the shade is metal and the bulb sits inside it, use a bulb that runs cool and do not exceed the maximum wattage marked on the fitting. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting.
