Antler Wall Lamp in White or Brown

A moulded resin antler mounted to the wall with the light set behind it, 36 cm across and 25 cm deep. The antlers are a sculptural form rather than a taxidermy imitation, cast in smooth resin with no attempt to look like bone, which is what allows the piece to sit in a modern room without reading as a hunting trophy.

Two finishes are offered and they suit very different rooms. White is graphic and quiet against a pale wall and works in a nursery, a child's bedroom or a Scandinavian living room. Brown is warmer and more traditional and belongs in a room with timber, leather and darker colours, or in a cabin or country scheme. Mounted above a bed, a fireplace or a console it throws light up and down the wall rather than into the room, which makes it a good secondary light for an evening rather than a primary one. Made from cast resin, so it is far lighter than it looks and needs only a standard wall fixing.

Cast by hand, so small variations in surface and tone are normal. No animals are involved in its manufacture; the form is entirely moulded resin. Bulb is not included. Mount securely into a suitable fixing and, in a child's room, out of reach. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
