Two shades with the same coastal look but very different proportions. The 45 x 23 cm has a proper hat profile, deep enough to contain the bulb and direct light downward. The 55 x 12 cm is far shallower, almost a disc, and behaves more like a wide reflector spreading light sideways across the ceiling. Which you want depends on the room rather than on taste.
The deeper shade suits a table or a bedside where the light should land in one place. The shallow one is the better choice under a low ceiling, or in a room where you want an even ambient fill rather than a defined pool: a landing, a hallway, a bedroom used mainly for soft light.
