Cloud Flush Mount Ceiling Light

A soft rounded cloud form pressed flat against the ceiling, in a matte finish with no visible fixings and no hard edges anywhere on it. It is a children's light that has been designed rather than decorated: there are no printed faces, no stickers and no cartoon detailing, just the shape, which is why it still looks right in a bedroom five years later.

Three colours are offered. White is the quietest and works in any room, including a living room or a landing where nobody would guess it was made for a nursery. Pink and blue are softer macaron tones rather than primary colours, so they sit with pale walls and natural wood instead of fighting them. Two sizes are available, 50 by 28 cm and 60 by 33 cm; the smaller suits a nursery or a single bedroom, the larger a shared room, a playroom or a living room. The diffused finish spreads light evenly with no bright point, which matters in a room where a child looks up at the ceiling from a bed.

This is a light fitting, not a toy, and it must be mounted securely out of reach. Intended for indoor use in dry locations only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight of the fitting.
