Amber Drop Crystal Glass Chandelier

Hundreds of teardrop-shaped crystal glass elements are hung in tight ranks to form a single mass, so what you see is not individual pieces but a solid, faceted column of glass. Light entering that mass is broken up repeatedly before it leaves, which is why the effect is atmospheric and shadowed rather than simply bright.

Two finishes change the room entirely. The brown amber version warms everything it touches and throws a honeyed light with deep shadows, suiting older rooms, dark timber and rich colours. The transparent version is cooler and cleaner, closer to a conventional crystal chandelier, and reflects the colours already in the room. Four sizes are offered, from 30 by 53 cm up to 75 by 58 cm. The smallest suits a bedroom or a stairwell; the largest is a serious centrepiece and needs a dining room, an entrance hall or a living room with the proportions to hold it.

Each crystal drop is hung by hand, so slight variation is normal, and the larger sizes are heavy. Bulbs are not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing and the structure above it must be rated for the full weight of the chandelier, which should be confirmed before any work begins. Clean only with the power isolated.
