Brass Globe Wall Light

A single glass globe on a slim brass arm, 20 cm wide and 35 cm high, with the plain industrial detailing that has made this style a fixture in bathrooms and bedrooms alike. The brass is warm rather than yellow, and it ages into a softer tone over time, which is part of why the material suits this kind of fitting so well.

As a vanity light it does the job properly: mounted either side of a mirror at roughly eye level, a pair of globes lights a face evenly from both sides, which is what you need for shaving or make-up and exactly what a single overhead light fails to do. Beyond the bathroom it works as a bedside wall light, freeing the surface of a nightstand, and as a pair either side of a fireplace, a sofa or a doorway in a living room. The globe diffuses the bulb so it can be looked at directly without discomfort.

Bulb is not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Where the fitting is used in a bathroom it must be installed only in a position permitted by the wiring regulations in your country, at a safe distance from a bath or shower, and never where it would be exposed to direct water or spray.
