This is the largest piece in the origami bird range, with five folded birds perched along an extended linear bar in gold. It was designed for rooms that can carry a fitting of this scale, and it does not work as a subtle accent: it is meant to be the thing that defines the room's ceiling.
Its natural home is an oversized kitchen island of 2.5 metres or more, or a grand eight to ten seater dining table where a shorter fitting would leave the ends of the table in shadow. In an open-plan space it also does useful work as a visual divider, marking where the dining area begins without needing a wall or a change of floor. The origami folding gives each bird faceted surfaces that catch the light at different angles, so the piece has depth and movement when seen from along its length rather than reading as a flat bar.
Bulbs are not included. Over a table or an island, aim for around 75 to 85 cm of clearance above the surface. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, all ceiling fixing points must be rated for the full weight and length of the bar, and the bar should be carefully levelled during fitting.
