Four folded origami birds are set along a 100 cm linear bar in a gold finish, which makes this the version of the design built for a long surface rather than a round one. The bar spreads the light evenly from end to end, so a kitchen island gets usable task light across its full length instead of a bright patch in the middle and shadow at the edges.
It is proportioned for a standard two-metre kitchen island or a six-seater rectangular dining table, and it is one of the few fittings that manages to be genuinely practical and decorative at the same time. Two variants, A and B, are offered so the bird arrangement can be matched to how the room is used and viewed. Over an island, hang it so the lowest point sits around 75 to 85 cm above the worktop, which keeps sightlines clear across the kitchen while still putting the light where you are working.
Bulbs are not included. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and both ceiling fixing points must be rated for the weight and the full length of the bar. Take care to level the bar during installation, as a linear fitting shows any tilt clearly.
