Palm Leaf Ceiling Fan with Amber Glass
Palm-leaf blades are shaped rather than flat, curved and veined like the leaf they take their name from. That has a practical side as well as a decorative one: a shaped blade catches more air per revolution than a flat paddle, which is why colonial fans in hot climates used this profile long before anyone thought of it as a style.
Amber glass lights ring the hub, and the colour is doing real work. Amber warms everything it emits, so the fixture reads as evening light even at full brightness, which suits the tropical reference far better than a cool white would. It also flatters the antique brass finish, if you choose that over the black.
At 29 inches this is a small fan, sized for a bedroom, a study, a covered veranda or a compact living room. Two finishes are offered at the same price: antique brass, which is the warmer and more period-correct, and black, which is more graphic. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the weight and movement of a fan. Indoor use only; wipe dry and check the fixings periodically.
